Calculate the maximum permitted rent of your accommodation with our online rent check. The calculation takes place on the basis of a point system. The more points you get, the higher the rental price your landlord is allowed to ask for your accommodation. The calculation is based on the Dutch rental prices law.
Fill out the size of your accommodation, followed by the amount of roommates. After this, tell us which facilities are present in the house. Did you fill out the whole form? The website will automatically calculate your maximum permitted rental price.
Do you need help filling out the form? Make an appointment and we will personally come by to your house to do a rent check on location (for free).
Before you can continue with the rent check, you should determine whether you are living in an apartment or in a room.
A room is a room or studio with shared facilities. If you share the toilet and/or kitchen with other tenants, you are renting a room.
You are renting an apartment if you have your own toilet ánd your own kitchen. If you share the bathroom, but you do have your own toilet and kitchen, you are still considered to be renting an apartment.
